John Zuklic

John Zuklic joined NextDecade as Chief Financial Officer in July 2026. John brings more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry, with a strong track record in financial strategy, capital structuring, and leading large, capital-intensive organizations through growth and transformation. Most recently, he served as CFO at CITGO, where he led the finance organization, executed the company’s financial strategy, and strengthened forecasting, governance, and decision-support capabilities. Prior to CITGO, John spent many years at Phillips 66 and ConocoPhillips in senior leadership roles across treasury, corporate finance, risk management, and enterprise transformation. John received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas.
