Train 4

NextDecade began construction on Train 4 at Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) in September 2025. Train 4 is expected to produce approximately 6 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Train 4 Equity Partners

NextDecade has an initial economic interest of 40% in Train 4, which will increase to 60% after the Financial Investors achieve certain returns on their investments in Train 4.

Train 4 construction is de-risked by fully-wrapped, lump-sum, turnkey engineering, procurement and construction contracts and Bechtel’s track record of successful LNG completions.

Liquefaction trains under construction and in development at RGLNG share a proven design and utilize established technologies and equipment from industry-leading suppliers.
